For more details please refer to TekScope OLH. - SWITCHING BETWEEN APPLICATIONS * Switching between DPOJET and DPOPWR requires that the oscilloscope application (TekScope) is restarted. You will be offered a chance to cancel such an operation. The two applications cannot run concurrently. - PLOT LENGTH LIMITATIONS * At > 2M RL, 10.0GS/s, multiple (more than one) instance of plot based measurements has a challenge and may not work consistently. ================================================================================ 6. Known Problems and Limitations: * When PFC type is selected, and perform Deguass function there can be a message box which comes up relating to PFC. This has nothing to do for Degauss and will go by itself. * When PFC type is selected, it turns ON the Cursor gating. When PFC type is unchecked, the cursors will retain the previous state. Users can use Global configuration to control the cursors ON and OFF. * In case of TPQ and CH measurement, the harmonic values in dB goes less than zero dB if limit is not applicable then limit bar will get displayed from zero to negative direction. * When you clear a measurement pressing F1 brings up results view. * For single source measurements, source configuration forces to Voltage source irrespective of input signal. * The application sets to HiRes mode by default. * The number of averages in ACQ mode for AVG is 100 by default. * Double click the plot to see the plot details. Some plots like spectral et al provides peak values to traverse between the peak values using 'Prev' and 'Next' buttons. * Progress bar updates are not meaningful for Autoset, Single, Free RUN sequences. * Report Generation is not waiting for current report to get generated before allowing another report generation. * For Current Harmonics MIL config, Harmonics table tab contents should be disabled but it is not. * Acquisition mode for RDSON by default should be set to Average mode, it sets to HiRes. This may not give correct results. * There is some inconsistency in clearing results & plots data on changing sources. * Auto increment checkbox in report panel. * The progress bar updates does not happen consistently for measurements and Autoset function. * For RDSON measurement, the static method represents instantaneous and average RDSON results. Currently the defaultconfiguration is DYNAMIC method. The instantaneous can be achieved using setting Global ACQ mode to Sample and average by setting ACQ mode to AVG--> 100 counts. * Vertical axis label of plot will not change as per vertical scale units in the plot. * We do not support programmatic interface ( GPIB ) for application controls. * Magnetic property plot does not highlight bpeak cycles with different color. * The AC and DC coupling is not dynamic enough to change based on probe selection. Apply same coupling value to both sources ( voltage and current ). Currently it’s applying to first source and not for second source. * After SOA X-Y measurement is run and then removed, scope is not restored to previous state. The scope will be in XY Mode and display has Infinite persistence. * SOA measurement overlay plot (with two plots) of 2M RL takes longer time (>1min) to plot. So it’s not recommended to run together with higher RL's. * We have to double click the plot to see the plot details. Some plots like spectral et al provides peak values to traverse. The double clicking action is not intuitive. * Some plot provides details and some not. It is not known which plot provides this, so every time plot has to be double clicked to know this. * There is a mismatch of default units for Current Harmonics results and plot. The table you are seeing in detailed results is dBuA as default. The plot you are seeing is RmsA as default. * Spectral and Current Harmonics has a limitation of 4M RL and if more than 4M is given as input and then up to 4M will be analyzed. * Report Generation is not waiting for current report to get generated before allowing next. * There is no support of virtual keyboard to enter comments in reports. * In the control panel-->Add Remove Programs, you can observe that the Advanced Power Analysis symbol does not show in the correct format unlike the other applications. * In Current Harmonics for MIL config the harmonics table tab contents should be disabled since they are not needed for this measurement. * When 'Recent' button is selected from SOA overlay base Plot, the Overlay does not take the latest plot created. ALL 10 plots are checked instead of recalling the most recent plot we created. * Select any measurement, Open source configuration, select scope recall default. Observe that the measurement is removed due to recall default operation but source configuration is still there. * Inrush current measurement does not show both negative and positive values when ref levels are changed beyond negative portion of the current waveform. The result always shows positive values. * For Magnetic property measurement, population results are not consistent with number of cycles displayed on scope screen. Especially with Rise slope it shows one cycle lesser than acquired. * Autoset functions limit scope RL to maxmum of 2M. * Energy plot for PowerQuality Measurement in grid view does not show properly and when you expand it, it becomes ok. * Line and Switching ripple gives same results for different ripple frequencies when run at the same time on same waveform. * The THDP probes for Real time Deskew from Tek-DPG source has lots of noisy signal. Recommendation is to use Static Deksew method for this. * Free hand drawing does not work with touch screen for SOA Mask designer. * Reverse zoom does not work in plots. * Magnetic Property with "Multiple" winding configuration cannot be grouped to run with another instance of any measurement. ================================================================================ 7.
