PC Requirements
---------------
The PC on which SignalVu-PC is installed must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Windows Operating System
- Windows 7 (64-bit) with Service Pack 1
- Windows 8/8.1 (64-bit)
- Windows 10 (64-bit)
- 20 GB free space on the C: drive
- 4 GB RAM (8 GB RAM for use with RSA306/500/600)
- Internet connection for activation of optional applications
Note: The RSA7100A requires the CTRL7100A controller.
Installing SignalVu-PC
----------------------
SignalVu-PC can be downloaded from the web. It is also available
on a USB Flash Drive.
1. If you downloaded SignalVu-PC from the web, extract the archive on the PC
where SignalVu-PC will be installed.
2. If you received SignalVu-PC on the USB Flash Drive, insert the Flash Drive into
the PC on which the software will be installed.
3. If the SignalVu-PC application is running, close it by choosing the red X in
the upper right corner or by selecting File > Exit.
4. Use Windows Explorer to navigate to the folder you extracted from the
archive or to the USB Flash Drive.
5. Select the directory containing the 64-bit SignalVu-PC application.
6. Double-click Setup.exe. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the
software.
The SignalVu-PC product software is made up of the base software and any
additionally purchased optional applications (licensed optional software).
The base software provides access to the standard SignalVu-PC applications.
It is available for download, free of charge, from the Tektronix Web site at
www.tektronix.com\downloads.
SignalVu-PC optional applications are activated with license files.
Free Trial Licenses can be obtained using the Tektronix Asset Management System
available at http://www.tek.com/products/product-license.
