System Requirements
------------------------
- Deployment Package v10.6.0 requires a one-time key to access its download site. Contact
your local Tektronix Customer Service Representative to obtain a one-time key.
- Deployment Package v10.6.0 runs only on DPO77002SX oscilloscopes.
- Instruments must have v10.5.0 installed prior to installing v10.6.0.
- This application software uses The MATLAB Component Runtime, V8.0 (Release 2012b)
on Windows 7(64 bit) from The MathWorks Inc.
- 30 GB of free disk space to install this application.
- TekScope SW only runs on 64 bit instruments.
- TekScope requires local admin privileges to install (though the application itself will run in user mode).
- It may be necessary to configure file/folder properties to allow users
privileges to create and modify files. Consult the appropriate Microsoft
documentation for details.The following folders and their contents may need to
be configured:
C:\Program Files\TekApplications\DPOJET
C:\Users\public\Tektronix\TekApplications\DPOJET
Installation Notes
-----------------------
- This firmware version is not intended for products running Windows
XP/XPe, i.e. DPO7000, DPO/DSA70000, and DPO/DSA70000B products.
- This will not install on 32 bit "C" models
- This deployment package significantly
simplifies the installation of new software. With this
package, you can perform one download and ensure that you
have all the latest software for your scopes. The
installation of the deployment package takes about 30-45
minutes and must not be interrupted until it has completed
the installation of all software.

Deployment Instructions
----------------------------
Once you start the deployment package by running DeploymentPackage_V10.6.0.exe,
it will perform the following operations:
a. Uninstall v10.5.0 and install TekScope Firmware v10.6.0
b. Install the other software applications listed above
c. Reboot the system
Depending on the installation applications, the steps mentioned above may be skipped.
For example, if the package did not find any applications, it will start from installing
TekScope Firmware. If the system already has any recent applications
installed, the deployment package will not update if it is compatible with the
TekScope firmware.
On successful completion of the installation, you must reboot the system.
Once the system is rebooted, TekScope application will start automatically and the
application is now ready for use.
