Complete the following steps to download and install the latest OCR application
software. 

You must have a Microsoft Windows 7 or above OS on the computer
onto which you want to install the software.

If you have an existing version of Tek OCR Application on your PC you must uninstall it

Uninstallation Instructions:
    1.  Go to the installed directory for Tek OCR Application
    
    2.  Double-click the maintenencetool.exe and follow the on-screen instructions to remove it from the PC.

Installation Instructions:

    1.  Go to www.tek.com.

    2.  Click Downloads. In the Download menu, select Software as the
        DOWNLOAD TYPE, enter Optical Clock Recovery in the MODEL OR
        KEYWORD field, and click SEARCH.

    3.  Select the latest version of software and follow the instructions to download
        the application.

    4.  Double-click the executable and follow the on-screen instructions to install
        the application.




Complete the following steps to download and install the latest .TEK firmware upgrade.

You must have a Microsoft Windows 7 or above OS as well as the latest TEK OCR Application (v1.1.1 or higher) from tek.com.

Installation Instructions:

    1.  Go to www.tek.com.

    2.  Click Downloads. In the Download menu, select Software as the
        DOWNLOAD TYPE, enter TCR801 in the MODEL OR
        KEYWORD field, and click SEARCH.

    3.  Select the latest version of firmware and follow the instructions to download
        the application.

    4.  Double-click the Tek OCR Application on your PC and connect to the instrument via the File-Connect button using 
	its IP address on the front panel.
    
    5.  Click Utility, then click Firmware Upgrade from the menu.

    6.  Using the browse button, select the TCR801_v1.2.0.TEK file you downloaded in step 2 from your file system.

    7.  Click Upgrade. Verify the firmware version is correct in the next step, then click yes. 
	The Application will upload the file and install the firmware. This process should take a minute or two.

    8.  Once the upgrade is complete, click REBOOT and the device will reboot and finish the upgrade. When it boots it will
	have the latest firmware installed.
