2 Series Release notes: 2022.09.09: (1.42.13.471) New Features: • Add updates needed to support running the scope on the optional battery pack • Updated on-scope Help system to include information regarding battery operation • Translated on-scope Help system into Japanese and Simplified Chinese languages. • On power down a splash screen will pop up to indicate that the scope is powering down. Known Issues: • When two batteries are present and the scope is receiving external power, a “Time to Full” in the battery status will be indicated for both batteries. The battery with the least charge will accurately report the time remaining to fully charge. The battery with the greater charge will report 9 hours to fully charge. Once the batteries reach a similar state of charge, the battery status will begin to report an accurate time remaining to fully charge for both batteries. • When two batteries are present and the scope is operating on battery power, a “Time to Empty” in the battery status will be indicated for both batteries. The battery with the most charge will accurately report the time remaining until fully discharged. The battery with the least charge will report 8 hours to discharge. Once the batteries reach a similar state of charge, the battery status will begin to report an accurate time remaining for both batteries. 2022.06.01: (1.42.6.324) New Features: • Uses the same Touch based interface as the 4/5/6 Series Oscilloscopes. • Supports both a 2 and 4 channel configuration with an auxiliary trigger input. • Supports record lengths up to 10 Mpts. • Has integrated AFG. • New form factor for portable use. Known Issues: • When AFG is turned off there is approximately 2.2 mV DC offset on the AFG connector. This is expected operation. • With a small results table, it may not always be possible to add a bus to the results table. In this situation resize the results table to a larger size and try again. • Current minimum acquired points is 50, when user requests to acquire record less than 50, scope will always acquire 50 points. Expect 50 points will be used for searching, measurement and curve query returns.
