1. Introduction

HDMXpress2.1 is the pattern generation and calibration software for HDMI2.1 sink 
electrical tests.

Major Features are
		*Supports generation and calibration of patterns for HFR2-1,HFR2-2,HFR2-3,
		  HFR2-4 and HFR2-5 electrical tests.
		* Supports WABAC Deskew
		* Supports Jitter calibration as per the latest HDMI2.1 gCTS.

2. Installation

-You need to have administrator privileges to install Tektronix HDMXpress2.1 software in 
  your system(though the application itself will run in user mode).

3. Software Prerequisite

-TekVISA 3.3.1.52 or above, MATLAB runtime 8.0 or above and .Net Framework 4.0 or above

4. Reinstallation or Upgrade

-Before re-installation or upgrade,HDMXpress2.1 must be uninstalled from the system.
 To uninstall, Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs Select Tektronix 
 HDMXpress2.1 and click Uninstall

5. Supported Tests

-HDMXpress2.1 supports all Sink electrical tests for HDMI 2.1 Physical Layer(HFR 2-1,
 HFR 2-2, HFR 2-3, HFR 2-4, HFR 2-5)

6. Supported list of equipment, accessories and software
  
- The HDMXpress2.1 software is designed to work with Quantity-4#, AWG70001A/B series.
- Tektronix Synchub box
- Tektronix AWG-HD with Firmware Version FV:2.1D
- Tektronix DPO 70000 SX with BW greater than 23G
- Ten Pairs of SMA cables
- One HDMI 2.1 plug
- One HDMI 2.1 receptacle

7. AWG Pattern Installer Instructions

- This installation can be done if user wants to use the factory-calibrated patterns
	- AWG pattern installer provided with two setup files
	- User must install one setup file which itself installs the other setup file.

8. Known Limitations

	8.1 Installer related limitations
		-Installation of HDMXpress2.1 and other software packages are installed on C:\ drive only.
		-The available free space on C: drive must be minimum  8.5GB.

	8.2 HDMXpress2.1 application related limitations
		- Tests will be started only when all the instruments are available.
		- The application is best viewed in super VGA resolution or higher video adapter (800x600 minimum video resolutions for small fonts or 1024x768 minimum video resolutions for large fonts) with 96 dpi display settings.
		  If application is running on instrument with lower resolution then it is recommended to use secondary monitor.
		- Need to have sufficient hard disc space (Minimum of 1GB) to save the pattern.
		- The overall time is dependent on the number of  measurements and data rate selected for calibration.
		- If user tries to access the application during this time, it may lead to hang / crash. Hence it is advised not to access the GUI of the application, while the waveform compilation is in progress and wait for it to complete.
		- While doing installing/upgrading operation, user has to uninstall the software from control panel.
