Interface -Updated application to use the standard windows title bar -Added information icons with tool-tips for certain input text boxes. Slider Control -Added slider support in all 3 displays depending on the active windows Fixes -Fixed a UI error when running for the first time or with no settings file. -Fixed a crash when attempting to run DataVu-PC with non-administrator privileges Known Issues ------------ - DataVu-PC does not support running remotely via Windows Remote Desktop. Workaround: Start DataVu-PC locally on the hosting PC. Workaround: Use another remote service that supports OpenGL such as VNC. - Time Overview display can crash DataVu-PC when analyzing a file larger than 2TB. Workaround: Prior to displaying Time Overview, set the start and stop indexes to encompass less than 2TB. Crash occurs at about 2.2TB. Equivalent time is: 50MHz - 2.44335908 hours 200MHz - 36.6503862 minutes 1000MHz - 9.16259656 minutes ------------------------------------------------------------- Version 1.1.39 Date: Sept 8 2017 ------------------------------------------------------------- This release note summarizes new features, improvements and bug fixes contained in the above software release. The current software for DataVu-PC is available at www.tek.com Version 1.1.39 contains the following changes: - Updated to use RSA306 alignment corrections in the latest RSA API. Known Issues ------------ -DataVu-PC cannot be started while accessing the hosting PC via Windows Remote Desktop. Workaround: Start DataVu-PC locally on the hosting PC. Workaround: Use another remote service such as VNC. -The text in LiveVu and LiveVu2 may become distorted or be missing characters when opened. Workaround: Hightlight the text in the text entry fields. -Time Overview display can crash DataVu-PC when analyzing a file larger than 2TB. Workaround: Prior to displaying Time Overview, set the start and stop indexes to encompass less than 2TB. Crash occurs at about 2.2TB. Equivalent time is: 50MHz - 2.44335908 hours 200MHz - 36.6503862 minutes 1000MHz - 9.16259656 minutes ------------------------------------------------------------- Version 1.1.38 Date: Sept 1 2017 ------------------------------------------------------------- This release note summarizes new features, improvements and bug fixes contained in the above software release. Known Issues ------------ - DataVu-PC cannot be started while accessing the hosting PC via Windows Remote Desktop. Workaround: Start DataVu-PC locally on the hosting PC. Workaround: Use another remote service. - Time Overview display can crash DataVu-PC when analyzing a file larger than 2TB. Workaround: Prior to displaying Time Overview, set the start and stop indexes to encompass less than 2TB. Crash occurs at about 2.2TB. Equivalent time is: 50MHz - 2.44335908 hours 200MHz - 36.6503862 minutes 1000MHz - 9.16259656 minutes - .xdat files recorded using SignalVu-PC 'Record on trigger' and then converted to .tiq using DataVu-PC will not recall in SignalVu-PC. Workaround: Prior to export as .tiq, slightly reduce the stop index. - .r3f files exported to .tiq using DataVu-PC will not recall in SignalVu-PC. Workaround: Prior to export as .tiq, slightly reduce the stop index. - Manually adding an eMarker sets the Start/Stop Power values to 0 dBm if power units are included in the entry. Workaround: In the 'Add an eMarker' dialog, delete the units on Start Power prior to selecting 'Add eMarker'. Workaround: If entering Stop Power do not enter units. - .tiq files saved from SignalVu-PC cannot be loaded into DataVu-PC. (DataVu-PC does not currently support 32-bit integer data types.) - No indication is given when the drive becomes full. For example, when exporting data or saving eMarker data. - Progress is not always clearly shown when Exporting data. - Play requires 2 clicks after dragging Stop index. Workaround: After dragging Stop index click Play twice.
