This release note summarizes new features, improvements and bug fixes contained in the above release. Version: 2.1.21 Date: September 2010 TimeView™ Modulation Domain Analysis Software allows you to analyze dynamic variation of time or frequency, including modulation, jitter, wander, sweep linearity, frequency agile communication, wireless LANs, Bluetooth frequency hopping, VCO frequency response and much more. New Features: - Zero dead-time Measurements Record and analyze slower variations/trends in any time or frequency related parameter including phase, duty cycle, pulse width, rise/fall time, RPM, and more. TimeView™ performs true zero-dead-time measurements like period back-to- back and time Allan Deviation. - Statistical Functions The statistical functions include distribution histogram presentation of the measured parameter, ideal for jitter analysis of various test objects like crystal oscillators, radar equipment, CD-players and more. The FFT-function shows any modulation, for example, modulation noise from power supplies. A smoothing function removes random measurement noise and reveals underlying trends. - Display TimeView™ can also display the signal's waveform, if the signal is repetitive. Note: After loading the demonstration software, it will run for 30 days, after which it requires purchase of a license or extension of the trial period. In either case, a license key is required. Entering the key is done through the (help) tab and (registration) sub-tab at the top of the TimeView™ screen. Demonstration software will not allow a user to save or print data. A license or special authorization from Tektronix is required for this to happen. v2.1.21 Initial Release
