1. Introduction

The Tektronix EDP14 Embedded Display Port 1.4 Essentials Option provides engineers an easy and fast way 
to debug and perform compliance testing for eDP 1.4 Tx devices. 

EDP14 option supports:
- EDP14 DPOJET Plug-in

The MOI contains the procedure for installation and the detailed information on how to
use the system. The MOI is located at C:\Program Files\TekApplications\DPOJET\eDP1_4_DPOJET_MOI.pdf.

2. Supported list of equipment and accessories
   Tektronix DPO/DSA 70000 C/D/DX/SX (Minimum 8G Bandwidth).
   Minimum Requirement
  	TekScope: Ver. 10.12.0 or above
		
	DPOJET: Ver. 10.4.0.5 and above

3. EDP14 created changes on your system

EDP14 Option, a DPOJET Plug-in
a)EDP14 can be launched from "eDP1.4" menu under "Analyze" menu of Scope application menu
b)Launching EDP14 option from Analyze menu will launch DPOJET application with the technology eDP 1.4 selected. 
The dropdown will have eDP1.4 enabled only if the EDP14 option is enabled on the scope.
c)EDP14 measurements on DPOJET do not have free trials.

4. Before you click "RUN"

a) Ensure that all the required instruments are properly warmed up, Signal Path 
   Compensation (SPC) is performed, followed by calibration and cable Deskew. 
b) It is highly recommended to read eDP1.4 MOI before you click "RUN".
c) Ensure that the following software is installed in your system. 
        Tektronix Jitter and Eye Diagram tool (Version 10.0.0 onwards)
Adobe Reader 6.0 or equivalent software for viewing portable document format (PDF) files	
d) On the Sx series scopes-DPO70000SX, after recalling a setup file manually update the
    Channel configurations based on the channels available on the scope.

5. Known Limitations

5.1 Installer related limitation 
a) Required software is installed on C: only.
b) User needs to have administrative privilege while installing the application.
 
5.2 eDP14 option related limitation 
a) User needs to have administrative privilege while running the tests.
b) Currently there is no clear way of doing DUT Automation.
c) Pattern validation feature will not be available.
